Joint Publication Award
The clubs participating in the European Club Magazines Alliance, choose a yearly subject for a Joint Publication in their main club magazines. The primary objective of a Joint Publication is to inform club members throughout Europe in an equal way about subjects which have an influence on road and car safety and the way they travel. The secondary objective is to advocate a single view on a subject on behalf of all clubs in Region I towards decision makers and politicians.
To encourage clubs to participate in publishing Joint Publications a prize is awarded by FIA Region I for the most appealing article. Members of the ECMA Bureau will choose this article. The responsible editor or publisher is to be presented the award at the yearly ECMA workshops by a FIA executive.
The joint publication for 2012 is on mileage fraud. It is available here, along with photos.
Last year's joint publication was on the Launch of the UN Decade of Action on Road Safety
