FIA Legal Award Winner Enjoys "Dream Weekend"
Publication date: 01 February 2010
The prize, given this year to ACP’s high-profile campaign to change car registration laws in Portugal, came with a weekend in an F1 circuit chosen by the winner. Gabriela picked the legendary Monza race, home of Ferrari and the colourful tiffosi including long-robed Franciscan priests camped outside Ferrari's motor home waiting for a glimpse of Fisichella or Raikkonen.
The race itself was hotly contested between Brawn GP's drivers Barrichello and Button, who would clinch the world title days later and between McLaren's Hamilton and Ferrari's Raikkonen, who finally came in third to deafening cheers from the huge crowd.
A high point of the weekend was the generous hospitality of the Italian club. ACI kindly invited ACP's representative to the traditional Sunday lunch, before the race, hosted by the circuit's fire fighters––an amazing gastronomical experience with an incredibly rich menu from the region of Emilia Romagna.
