Mega trucks in France are becoming definite

The mega truck trial in France that has been announced already in March is becoming more and more definite. From April 2010 on a trial of no less than three years with longer and heavier trucks shall start. It is planned to use mega trucks that weight 57 tonnes and have a length of 25 metres.

In France mega truck supporters have gathered in the so called “Club 25,25”. Amongst others the truck manufacturer Renault, the tyre producer Michelin and several truck lobby associations are belonging to the group.
