Today, thanks to information and communication technologies (ICT), our cars are becoming safer, cleaner and smarter. However, whilst certain technologies, such as ABS, have become familiar to us, other equipments created by the joint efforts of the automotive industry and European research, remain relatively unknown to the general public. Discover what they are now with the iCar Quiz ! If you are over 18, if you have a driving license for over a year and if you live in the European Union, you can win one of the 10 visits to Luxembourg for a perfection driving course offered by the Automobile Club of Luxembourg and the European Commission! (Offer valid until 15 January 2008 at midnight). The iCar quiz marks the launch of the new 'intelligent car' website of the European Commission. This site aims to help the general public to find out about ICT applications for safer and less polluting road transport.
