Brussels, 2 October 2007. The eSafety Forum’s Implementation Road Maps Working Group, together with the eSafety Support project, is organising the eSafety Deployment Workshop, to take place 14 November 2007 at the Diamant Centre in Brussels.
Open to all eSafety stakeholders, the event will take a closer look at the status of eSafety today and discuss how eSafety actors can best organise their deployment efforts for tomorrow:
• Have we really done enough to improve road safety?
• Where do we actually stand on the deployment of integrated vehicle safety systems?
• Are we being left behind by Japan and the US?
Speakers from Europe, Japan, the US and elsewhere will share their opinions and experiences, providing participants with interesting insight into:
• The eSafety implementation situation in both Europe and around the world
• Best practices in promoting deployment
• What Europe can learn from everyone’s experiences
eSafety Deployment Awards
Besides the workshop programme, the event also includes the presentation of the first-ever eSafety Deployment Awards, hosted by Max Mosley, FIA President & Honorary Member of ERTICO – ITS Europe and European Commission DG Information Society & Media Director Rosalie Zobel.
