Confederation of Organisations in Road Transport Enforcement

The Confederation of Organisations in Road Transport Enforcement (CORTE), founded in December 2004, gathers together experts from various national bodies from Member States, each body being a key player in the sphere of road transport enforcement.

By stimulating an open dialogue between all those stakeholders who share the objective of improving road safety, CORTE hopes to raise the awareness of enforcement issues. "During this time of globalisation of road transport, we all feel the need to develop a harmonised approach, encompassing best practice in enforcement in line with European legislative initiatives", says its Vice-President, Ivor GERAGHTY (Ireland).
